With the support of ANO Eurasia, a memorial park dedicated to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War was restored in the village of Fantan, Armenia.

The project “My Memory Is My Pride” won the first grant competition and was launched in April 2025.

Thanks to landscaping, restoration work, and a series of community clean-up events organized with grant funding, activists brought new life to this important place of remembrance.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Sergey Pavlovich Kopyrkin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Armenia; Vadim Pavlovich Fefilov, Head of the Russian House in Yerevan; Hayk Melikyan, Director General of the Moscow House in Yerevan; as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps, local public figures, and cultural leaders.

A Flame from Moscow’s Eternal Flame Set Off for the Sites of Military Glory in the Caucasus

The project by Mariam Mirzoyan and Robert Avdzhyan, winners of the first ANO Eurasia grant competition, continues to bring people together around the memory of the heroic deeds of the Great Patriotic War.

Ahead of Victory Day, participants of the international automobile marathon “Along the Roads of Victory — A Duty of Memory” carried a flame from the Eternal Flame on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow to memorial sites connected with the Battle of the Caucasus, passing through cities in Russia’s Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Abkhazia.

The route passed through Krasnodar, Goryachy Klyuch, Belorechensk, Apsheronsk, Neftegorsk, Tuapse, Sochi, Gagra, and Sukhum.

In each city, participants met with local residents, laid flowers at memorials, and spoke about the importance of preserving the memory of the wartime heroes’ sacrifice.
